This article explains how to change a character’s facial expression in Powtoon and applies to all users working in the Powtoon editor. It also clarifies the difference between Editable and non-Editable characters and what to do if expression controls are unavailable.
Editable Character
The Pose selection for an editable character is divided into two sections : Pose and Expression.
- On the stage, select the character whose pose you want to change.
- Click Pose above the selected character.
A selection of poses and expressions will be displayed.
3. Select a new pose and/or expression for the character.
For example:
In the screenshot below, the character's pose was changed from Explaining to Walking, and the expression was changed to Angry.
