This process explains how to export a Powtoon project as a SCORM package so it can be uploaded to a compatible learning management system (LMS) and used to track learner completion according to your chosen settings.
Step 1: Open the Powtoon to Export
Open the Powtoon project that you want to export.
Make sure you are in the Powtoon studio with the correct project loaded.
Step 2: Access the Export Options
In the upper-right corner of the Powtoon studio, click Export or Publish to open the export options menu.
From the menu that appears, select Download SCORM.
Step 3: Configure SCORM Settings
When the SCORM settings window appears, first choose your preferred SCORM version: SCORM 2004 or SCORM 1.2
Next, select your completion criteria to define when learners will be marked as having completed the content. Choose the option that best matches your tracking and reporting needs.
Step 4: Generate and Download the SCORM Package
After confirming your SCORM version and completion criteria, click Generate and Download to start creating your SCORM package.
Wait for the generation and download process to complete; this may take a few minutes depending on the size of your Powtoon.
Step 5: Upload the SCORM Package to Your LMS
Once the SCORM package has finished downloading, sign in to your LMS and open an existing course or create a new one. Use your LMS’s SCORM upload or import feature to upload the downloaded SCORM package, following the LMS-specific instructions. After upload, your Powtoon content will be available as SCORM content within your course.
